Christmas Bandwagon

Christmas: The time when everyone gets Santamental.
Don't get me wrong I'm not one of those people who wears red all month and decorates my house to the nines. Believe it or not, I actually didn't even like this holiday for years! (traumatizing childhood story not important) But lately I've began to appreciate everything I have to be grateful for and I'm proud to say I've finally jumped on the Christmas Bandwagon!
I've Been listening to Christmas Carols since November, (ok I admit I even snuck in a few during the summer) I can't help it I just love cold weather and nothing reminds me more of that then
"Baby It's Cold Outside" ...I love that song!

Tell me your favorite Christmas Song...

Pretty Please

(I asked nicely so no excuse!)

I have to go w/ "All I Want For Christmas Is You" due to my love of the movie "Love Actually". I usually get in the Xmas spirit but I've been a scrooge today. I think I'll be back in the Xmas spirit after happy hour tonight though. That always gets me out of my funk. :)

I'm new at blogging so I am going from blog to blog just browsing. Saw your post thought I would respond (since you did after all ask nicely) :D
My favorite Christmas song is:
Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant
(Has a lot to do with my being pregnant around Christmas time when I first heard that song almost 8 years ago)
Still manages to make me cry from time to time. (Yeah I'm a sap)
Nice Blog! I'll definately be back :)

Fav Christmas Song is Silver Bells. But there's a version out there by some dumb woman and she sings it sooooo slow and it makes me have a twitch I hate it so much. But every other version I love.

I also despise the song by Paul McCartney I think it's called A Wonderful Christmas Time? It's soooo awful it makes me want to vomit. You didn't ask for least favorite song I know so I will stop now.

Honestly, I barely noticed it was Christmastime until yesterday. I guess it's just tough to celebrate this year.

I love lots of Christmas songs, but one of my all time faves is "One Little Christmas Tree" by Stevie Wonder.

No wait, I change mine!! There is this song that they USED to play on the local "Christmas station" (their words, not mine) and it was the Carol of the Bells done with animal sounds. At the end of the song they had a baby crying, talk about goose bumps!! I LOVE THAT SONG, no idea what it is called, can not find it ANYWHERE for the life of me, but i LOOOOOOOVE that song!!!!!! (And bonus so do my kids)

it's a tie: the chipmunk christmas song and the B.C. Clark song. Folks who aren't okies aren't familiar with the latter so i'll sing it: Jewelry is the gift to give, cus it's the gift that will live and live, so give the gift you know can't fail at B.C. Clark's anniversary sale. Most sales are after Christmas, but clark's is just before, most everything is marked way down with savings you can't ignore, at Oklahoma oldest jewler since 1892, so give the gift you know can't fail from B.C. clark's anniversary sale.

Hi Bon Don...

Long time reader from SmileyGirl, first time commentor...(is that even a word?!)

I'm a Muslim chica, but I loooove me some "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". One of the first songs I ever heard when we landed in the U.S.of.A.

I went all crazy and pissed my family off by marrying a Catholic, so now I've got Christmas songs coming out of my *&%#@!

Happy Holidays! Love your blog...

I dunno how I missed this post?

I have to go with Mariah's "All I Want for Christmas Is You". Mostly for sentimental reasons.
