Pop Rock Margarita Disclaimer

I thought I should let you all know,
when you do go out and try this lovely libation...
BEWARE!
Not only are they yummy and make you want to drink countless more, but when the Pop Rocks are being poured into the drink they fly EVERYWHERE!
I'm talking at top speed!
They fly in your hair they stay stuck on your clothes and skin!
Fun but messy!

When I was in high school, a friend of mine brought a package of off-brand Oreos with Pop Rocks in the filling to a social gathering. Needless to say, they kept "popping" out of the creme and hitting people randomly. It was, ah, fun to say the least...

That Pop Rocks Margarita was delish! Although when I got home I had Pop Rocks in my hair, on my shirt, jeans, even my face (I had one stuck on the side of my neck)!

Loss: OREO POP ROCKS!!! SWEET!!!
I would love to go to a "social gathering" where creme hits people randomly, I think it would be fun to say the least! ... Hubby & I bought out the entire selection of Pop Rocks because I've been adding them to the drinks I make at home... It's sooo fun!

Bon Don said...

Mary: YAY!! Do it!!

MJ: No it's just plain Margarita mix with a Pomegranate syrup (it's Joe's Crab Shack nothing fancy) :)

Holy crap, I'm totally dragging the husband to Joe's this weekend...I must have one of these margaritas stat!

P.S. I find saying "stat" at the end of every sentence makes me sound important and doctory.
