Hi everyone!

Well I'm back, it's been a little hectic around here to say the least. My little momma is doing fine, she's just a little slower and a lot less mobile these days but in good spirits as usual. She suffered from a broken wrist and ankle and lots of bumps and bruises.

We expect a full recovery within 4 to 6 weeks, and as soon as that happens she will not be allowed to leave the house!

After shot of the PT Bruiser

As promised, here is an after shot of the Bruiser. Poor little bebe. His tire is all sidewinders. It looks like Dingy (Bon Don's other dog, think: Cinderella without the happy ending) with her crooked smile/grin, she always looks like she's growling at you. Chihuahuas are weird.

Updates: Sra. Fernandez and PT Bruiser

Sup, homies [sharp nod upward, in a very cholo-esque fashion]! Himbo here, relaying a message on behalf of Ms. Bon Don, to her public, she wants to let America know that she will be back tomorrow. You’re welcome. As for her Argentinean readers, Bon Don says, “Don’t cry for me, I never left you”, she sang this from her balcony.

The accident:
Here’s the skinny on the skinny, Tuesday morning, Bon Don’s mama, Mrs. (Vicente) Fernandez, was attacked at the intersection of Garbage Grove Boulevard and Nü Hope Street., by a rogue pickle. The pickle was in disguise as an old man driving a car. As Mrs. Fernandez legally drove through the intersection, the pickle allegedly ran a red light and drove into the PT Bruiser being driven by Mrs. Fernandez, on loan from her daughter, Ms. Don, Bon Don that is. Mrs. Fernandez was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries, a few broken bones and a permanent loss of appetite for pickles. Hospital staff immediately ruled out Attention Whore-atitus… whew!

After the accident:
Tuesday, Bon Don and Mrs. Fernandez spent all day at the hospital. Wednesday morning Bon Don was busy with paperwork and phone calls, we met up at approx. 1:00pm and headed to the DMV because we both lost our id cards. Next stop, St. Joe’s to fetch Mrs. Fernandez’s x-rays, then we were required to stop at Starbucks because its tradition and you just can’t break tradition. At which point Bon Don proceeded to “accidentally” get all wired by “forgetting” to ask for decaf. After Starbucks, we swung by to pick up the ninas, Cindyjo and Jojo, from school. Cindyjoe got a 4/5 in Espanol and Jojo did very well on a test, I know this because the school had a robotic lady call to let us know, [in a robotic automated voice recording] she said, “Hi.this.is.your.daughter.Jojo’s.school.calling.she.did.very.well.on.a.test.”, [pause], “hi.this.is.your.daughter.Cindyjo’s.school.calling.she.scored.4.out.of.5.on.a.test.in.Espanol.class.”, [beep…]. We dropped the girls off at the casa and headed for Enterprise Car Rentals. From Enterprise we hit the grocery store, and last, but not least, BevMo for some nutritious health drinks, i.e. red wine, it’s good for you, there’s scientific studies to prove it.

Unfortunately, the Bruiser got pretty messed up and we’re not sure it’ll survive the accident but Bon Don will update you as details become available. Here’s a before shot:

What kind of a fan doesn't know that their favorite author has another book out!? Honestly!

Davis Sedaris released a new book this summer and I had no idea. Now I have to totally run to Borders the minute I can and get to listening!

Yes I buy all David Sedaris books on audio, I just love the way he reads his own books it's funnier that way. I'm so excited, I'll definitely keep you posted on how wonderful it is!

I Packed My Angry Eyes

So yesterday I was over at Himbo's house trying to watch the VMA's because I didn't get to see it on Sunday. (and I'll have to say...this year was kind of low budget and it seemed like everyone was screwing up the teleprompter, it was lame) Anyway that's not part of the story...

So I get a phone call to come back home for such & such reason...I'm now furious. I haven't really had any time to just do what I want and chill out, and now my night was being cut short for a really stupid reason. I get home and I blow up!

And right now my voice is gone and sounds horrible and I can only imagine what I sounded like trying to yell. I calmed down and then just vented, I got a few things off my chest and I was done.

But oh man what a little Bi-Polar Bear I was last night! Poor Hubby has just been dealing with all my venting to him, but I think I'm done now. I think I'm good now, I might just need a drink.

Oh my goodness this girl is hilarious!

Her post about her biker gang was great! I'm so jealous because for who knows how long I've been wanting a Pink Beach Cruiser with a basket for Blue to ride in, how cool would that be!

You guys really need to check her out! Yesterday I sent her Holy Spirit link to Himbo and he laughed so hard he pee'd ... ok he didn't really pee but apparently he was pretty close!

Kind of.
I do feel much better today though, I even managed to make it into work today. Partly because it was the girls first day back to school and I had to wake up.

Either way I'm up and running, well not running but a staggering sprint to say the least.

So not only was it the girls first day back, but it was Cindyjo's first day of High School! Oh my gosh was she building this day up!

She was really anxious and nervous, but the kid has it good this year... not only did she go to middle school with half of the freshman's starting with her... her BFF "Kimmy" will be there... AND her older sister is a Junior already!

Unlike poor Jo had to start high school with strangers! She didn't go to the same school as all her middle school friends. That poor girl had to figure it all out on her own!

But they were both ready to go this morning. Hair was done. Lotion was in the air. Lip gloss was shining. Van's had that new shoe smell, and it was time to see all their friends! Ahh to be young again.

So I've been out of commission these last few days... According to Hubby I let my sickness get to my head and take over my body!

It started off with the sniffles last week and I thought I had gotten over it but I guess not. It was full blown this whole weekend and I was done!

Hey at least I'm not in a Nyquil coma today.
